CARTEL and its Martin-type varnished wood lamp base decorated with flowers au naturel on a green background and rich ormolu ornamentation including acanthus scrolls and birds. Black and white enameled dial signed Galland in La Ferté sous Jouarre. The base decorated with a fox and a stork based on a fable by La Fontaine and stamped J.JOLLAIN.
